How much does it cost to be a vendor? What does this money go to since By Hand Boutique is non-profit?
There is a fee of $20 per booth. None of this money is kept for profit; every last dime goes towards expenses to make By Hand Boutique a successful, well advertised event. Any leftover funds will be donated to Michael and Michelle Davis to fund their missionary journey in England.
I need to bring an extra table or other display furniture. Can I do that?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to make your assigned area suitable to your needs and creatively showcase your products.
Will I need to leave to get something to eat?
While you are welcome to bring a packed lunch, dinner and/or snacks, one of the perks of By Hand Boutique's single checkout system is that you are able to leave to go grab good. Some of our vendors will also be selling food and snacks.
When can I set up my booth?
Set up times will be 3pm Friday 11/7 and 6am Saturday 11/8. Your items can remain setup overnight Friday to Saturday. Please be fully setup a half hour before show time.
I would like a booth as a direct sales consultant for a larger company. Can I be a vendor?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to accommodate consultants for larger companies. (Please refer to our mission statement.) However, you are welcome to come sell any of your handmade items made from products from the company you represent, or send business cards with a friend to distribute.
